WHS offers a number of community education courses.
Below you will find information on the upcoming FREE Stop the Bleed Community Education Course.
The purpose of this course is to educate the participants in the principles to stop uncontrolled bleeding in an emergency situation. Following the Stop the Bleed course, the participant will be able to:
- Identify ABC’s of bleeding.
- Identify “life-threatening” bleeding.
- Apply tourniquet compression.
- Demonstrate wound packing with direct pressure compression.
Participants must register online. Class size is limited.
