Frequently Asked Questions

In response to the COVID-19 situation WHS Washington Hospital and WHS-Greene will be closed to all visitors. Some exceptions apply. For more details and updates please go to whs.org/coronavirus.

Live plants, especially with soil, are discouraged because the microbes they harbor may cause further illness to a critical patient. However, we understand you want to show support for your loved one. Mylar balloons, cards, or some small personal belonging may be more appropriate and just as comforting.

You can call in directly to CCU at (724) 223-3073 and ask for the patient’s nurse. If the patient is no longer in CCU, the hospital operator (724) 225-7000 can appropriately direct your call.
