Tell me about yourself?

Title: Clinical Systems Analyst

Did you take on any additional tasks during COVID 19? Yes, I took on the task of building COVID questions into the Sunrise system and also associated with reports.

How long have you been employed at WHS? I’ve been working for Washington Health System for over 20 years.

Was it always in the same department? I worked as an inpatient nurse for 10 years before transitioning to the IS department.

Education: I went to Northern Community for my associates degree, and then to California University for my BSN.

Hobbies outside of work: I enjoy a variety of activities including home improvements, gardening, sledding, skiing, skating, attending church, and watching my sons play soccer.

Family, pets, etc? My husband, Craig Kingsland, and I have been married for 20 years. We have 2 sons, Seth and Luke. My family is incredible; there is never a dull moment!

What are some of your guilty pleasures?

Boston cream pie and bear claws!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a truck driver so that I could travel the country and explore each state.

What is the best event/concert/etc, you’ve attended?

Saudi Arabia, and a Professional Soccer game in Argentina it was life changing.

Do you prefer online shopping or in store shopping?

I prefer to shop in the physical stores.

If you were given a free plane ticket to visit anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I would go to Bermuda for the beautiful weather and absolutely incredible scenery.

What do you want people to know about WHS?

Our team members are extremely hard working, and we all work towards the same goal of providing great patient care. WHS has top notch specialty care.
