Bender, Emily, PA-C
Emily Bender, MSPAS, PA-C received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Master of Physician Assistant Studies from West Liberty University, WV. During her clinical rotations she spent time training in different specialties and formed a long-standing passion in Women’s Health. She also studied other specialties such as nephrology, neurology, pediatrics, family medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and behavioral health. She also took an interest in Lactation with hopes to further her knowledge in that field. Prior to obtaining her degrees she worked at WHS emergency department as a medical scribe and worked as a medical assistant.
Emily grew up in Burgettstown, PA located in Washington County. Emily has completed many hours of community service working and held many leadership positions while attending West Liberty University. She was a member of a local sorority, student government, and future physician assistant club on campus.
Throughout her education and beginning her career as a PA-C she believes that providing quality care and forming trusting relationships with her patients provides the best outcome for health and wellness. She understands the importance of addressing each patient’s concerns and providing the resources needed for the patients.
Ms. Bender enjoys her free time with friends and family. She enjoys the outdoors and spends her time camping, and fishing.
