As part of our OB and Women’s Health Unit renovation, the new CARE Center for Family Birth and Women’s Health will provide a special area in the nursery with dimmer lighting and less noise so that babies born with NAS can adapt to the world. The nursery will also include a private area for a mother to nest with her special care baby that needs to stay after she is discharged from the hospital. In addition, the floor will now have a stocked snack pantry for moms and visitors. This will help our parents spend more time nesting and bonding with their babies.
