Schoonover, Carrie D, DO

Carrie D. Schoonover, DO. is a primary care provider with WHS Family Medicine – North Main and will also see patients at WHS OBGYN Care on a temporary basis.

Dr. Schoonover received her medical degree from the Bradenton, Florida branch of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and was a Resident of the WHS Family Medicine Residency Program. In her residency, Dr. Schoonover conducted research for process improvement projects related to pediatric obesity and served as co-chief resident in her final year.

Dr. Schoonover brings her expertise in many aspects of gynecological and obstetrical care, as well as skin procedures. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

When Dr. Schoonover is not helping patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks with her dog, playing soccer, and exploring local restaurants.
