Kapoor, Nitin, DO
Nitin Kapoor, DO, is a hematologist/medical oncologist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. He specializes in general hematology and oncology disorders.
Dr. Kapoor is board-certified in internal medicine and oncology, and hematology. He received a medical degree from Ohio University College of Medicine, completed a residency in internal medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital, affiliated with The Ohio State University in Columbus, and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Ohio University in Dayton, Ohio. In addition, he received specialty fellowship training, in one-month and two-month elective rotations, including rotations in gastrointestinal cancer, benign hematology, and lung cancer at the University of Cincinnati, rotations in malignant hematology and bone marrow transplant at the Comprehensive Cancer Center ; Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University, and in breast cancer at Indiana University.
Dr. Kapoor is a member of professional medical organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American Osteopathic Association, and American College of Osteopathic Internists. He has presented posters at the American Association for Cancer Research and the American College of Physicians conferences
