Dr. Chris Gisler is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He was born and raised in Johnstown, PA. Dr. Gisler completed his undergraduate degree at Washington & Jefferson College and is excited to return to the area.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Virginia. Dr. Gisler completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he served as a chief resident and a chief fellow.
He is focused on providing a comprehensive approach to health care, combining nutrition, fitness, and medications to treat and slow the progression of kidney disease. Chris is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoys lifting weights and playing soccer.
