The WHS Center for Family Birth and Women’s Health also offers a relaxing, healing atmosphere for women who are recovering from a gynecological surgery at WHS Washington Hospital.
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while you recover from surgery. That’s why we designed the CARE Center for Family Birth and Women’s Health with input from our patients and caregivers, and we made sure to design this unit to support women at many phases of life.
You will heal in a comforting, quiet environment. Most patients have told us it feels more like a spa or luxury hotel than a hospital. Your room will include a spacious, modern bathroom and plenty or space for visitors. We feel that support from your family members will play a key role in your recovery. Your visitors will enjoy the family lounge where they can relax, grab a snack from the snack and beverage machines, and even enjoy the colorful virtual fish tank or children’s play area.
