Schettler, Wesley, MD

Wesley J. Schettler, MD graduated from the WHS Family Medicine Residency Program in 2023 and is now a primary care provider at the WHS Family Medicine Center’s Canonsburg location.

Before his time at WHS, Dr. Schettler earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Clarion University in Clarion, PA.

Dr. Schettler’s research experience includes resident process improvement projects regarding sexual orientation and gender identity, and he has researched and written about improving pneumococcal vaccination rates in patients. He belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians.
