Young , Amber , RN, FNP-C

Amber Young, RN, FNP-C provides care to patients in our community as a nurse practitioner at the WHS Wound and Skin Healing Center.

Ms. Young earned her BSN and MSN from Wheeling Jesuit University and also completed all of her precepting and training at WHS in the GI, surgical, and wound care departments. In addition to being a Nurse Practitioner, she was also a teacher and a family-based therapist for over twenty years. “As you can see, I’m very passionate about choosing careers where I can help others,” said Amber.

When she is not working, she enjoy spending time with  family and her two beloved cats, Biscuit and Onion. Ms. Young also loves walking the beautiful nature trails in Washington County and listening to bagpipe music.
