Ehren, Jocelyn (Joy), CRNP
Jocelyn (Joy) Ehren, CRNP completed her Adult Nurse Practitioner program from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. Her nursing career started in Green Bay, WI where she worked for 11 years as a Registered Nurse and had extensive patient care experience in ICU, Emergency, Trauma, and Medical-Surgical environment. As a Nurse Practitioner, she worked at various practice settings including Cardio-thoracic Surgery, Trauma, Family Medicine, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Advanced Wound Care Centers. She belongs to multiple professional societies including the National Wound Healing Society and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also boasts many honors and awards in nursing and certifications.
Since 2006, Joy has specialized in the care and treatment of acute, chronic and non-healing wounds. She received her certification as a Skin and Wound Specialist from the American Board of Wound Healing. She is also certified in Hyperbaric Medicine. In her last role, she worked at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland in the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Services. Prior to that, she was at Cleveland Clinic where she helped develop the Medina Hospital Wound Healing Center in Medina, Ohio.
In addition to her nurse practitioner role, Joy has served in a faculty role at several colleges and hospitals, including St. Vincent Hospital (Green Bay, WI) Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (Green Bay, WI) and Maryknoll College (Manila, Philippines). Before that, she was a full-time faculty at a high school in Davao City, Philippines.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family. She has one daughter who recently moved to Scotland to join her husband. She also has a dog (Vikki) who is very much loved and pampered. Joy loves taking road trips and traveling abroad. She plays the piano and indulges in craft work.
Joy is available to partner with patients to achieve a state of optimum health and wellness. She believes that having the right information is pivotal to implementing the changes necessary to achieve and maintain optimum health. She is prepared to provide education to equip patients with what they need. After all, good health is central to good quality of life.
